Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New Jersey instructional certificate with endorsements as required by NJ statutes and regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher per NJ statutes and regulations.
• Demonstrate knowledge of child growth, development, instructional content, and effective instructional strategies.
• Commitment to a structured learning environment with high expectations for student learning.
• Background check and legal status proof required.

Responsabilités

• Plan, prepare, and deliver instruction aligned with district programs and approved curriculum.
• Implement the district's philosophy and instructional goals.
• Maintain high standards and a positive learning environment for all students.
• Demonstrate ethical professional behavior with students, parents, and staff.
• Provide a nurturing classroom climate with positive motivation and effective management.
• Maintain procedures for classroom operation and student behavior; ensure health and safety.
• Use data from assessments to inform planning and report student progress.
• Prepare lesson plans in approved format and submit as required.
• Support individualized education plans for students assigned to the class.
• Attend staff and committee meetings and participate in school activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues to analyze student data and improve instruction.
