Job summary

Qualifications

• Education level: BA or MA or higher.
• Certifications and licenses as required by New Jersey and/or the U.S.
• Experience in elementary or middle school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides instruction to classified students in accordance with each student’s IEP.
• Coordinates with regular education staff to monitor progress and provide support in regular or resource classroom.
• Maintains standards of student behavior for a conducive learning climate.
• Develops lesson plans and provides individualized and small group instruction.
• Meets with case manager, parents and staff to review and revise IEP and placement.
