Job summary

Qualifications

  • Fingerprints and successful WSP and FBI background clearance/sexual misconduct clearance.
  • Experience in classroom instruction aligned with district policies.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and plans a program of study based on student needs and delivers engaging instruction.
  • Assessments and progress reports; assign grades reflecting achievement; refer students for evaluation as needed.
  • Implement district philosophy, policies, and objectives; manage classroom behavior fairly.
  • Prepare differentiated lessons and clearly stated objectives; align materials to goals.
  • Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues; attend conferences as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records and use data to inform instruction; track student growth.
  • Supervise students and ensure safety across school settings; coordinate with staff as required.
