Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 60 college credits or ParaPro assessment.
• Knowledge of children with disabilities and ability to support individualized needs.
• Ability to assist with transfers, lifting, and daily care as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist teacher in preparing student work, materials, and classroom displays.
• Support students' IEP goals with instructional implementation and behavior strategies.
• Supervise students during lunch, play, and bus duty; maintain classroom safety.
• Collect data on student progress and communicate with the teacher daily.
• Assist with inventory and maintenance of classroom equipment.
