The role involves classroom support, behavior monitoring, assisting with daily living activities, and helping implement IEPs.

Reliable transportation and clearances required; qualification includes HS diploma or higher; benefits include health, dental, and vision, 401K.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; Associate or Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide support across all educational settings; escort and supervise students to various locations.
• Assist with classroom management, such as organizing instructional materials.
• Assist students with the use of equipment, including communication devices if applicable.
• Assist students with positioning, transferring, and ambulation.
• Assist with activities of daily living (feeding, grooming, bathing, diapering, and toileting) if applicable.
• Accompany students on the bus or other vehicle.
• Observe, monitor, and redirect behavior as needed.
• Cue students to remain on task and complete activities assigned by the teacher or therapist.
• Follow Individual Education Plans and assist with data collection on student performance.
• Support parental involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
