Qualifications

Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card may be required.
Background clearance check required.

CPR, First Aid, CPI training required.
May need to restrain students using OPi holds and chase students if needed.
May require English fluency for written and oral communications.

Responsibilities

Support students with disabilities in classrooms guided by school administration and special education teams.
Assist students in multiple classroom settings to complete tasks and follow accommodations.
Foster workplace skills and positive behaviors through teaching and modeling.
Provide proactive support to monitor, intervene, and redirect student behaviors.
Aid students in using assistive technology to enhance learning.
Lead individual and small group activities under teacher direction.
Maintain accurate documentation and updates to student records.
Assist students with activities of daily living (eating, dressing, toileting, mobility).
Support individual student programs for behavior, sensory needs, and academics.
Perform additional duties such as playground or cafeteria monitoring.
