Job summary
Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking a School Registered Nurse (RN) for a part-time contract in El Monte, CA. The RN will oversee nursing processes and student care in a school setting, supporting students' physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
The role involves liaising with families, school staff, and healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with policies and orders. A CA RN license, CPR/health requirements, and preferred 1 year of pediatric or school nursing experience are required.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- School Nurse Certification as required by state or contract
- One year of school nursing, public health, or pediatric experience preferred
- Complies with professional standards of practice
- Current CPR if applicable
- TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
- Current Health certificate per contract or state regulation
- Must meet federal, state and local requirements
