Job summary

The role includes providing individual and group counseling, collaborating with families and staff, maintaining program quality according to the ASCA Model, and conducting program audits and data analysis to guide improvements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in school counseling required.
• Maryland Educator Professional Certificate with School Counselor endorsement or eligibility.
• Knowledge of ASCA National Model, data analysis, and curriculum integration.

Responsibilities

• Assists students individually or in groups to develop academic, career, and personal/social skills.
• Provides counseling services and collaborates with parents/guardians, teachers, and administrators.
• Implements the comprehensive school counseling program and conducts program audits and data reviews.
• Maintains resources for stakeholders and communicates program results.
