Job summary

Harrisburg School District is seeking an Occupational Therapist to assess and support disabled students within classroom settings. You will conduct tests to determine a child’s functioning level, participate in evaluations, and communicate findings to parents and staff.

You will work closely with teachers to develop IEPs and monitor student progress, ensuring services meet regulatory requirements and educational goals.

Qualifications

• Valid PA Certificate in Occupational Therapy.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Knowledge of federal and state Occupational Therapy regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assess children using a variety of testing procedures to determine functioning level.
• Participate in evaluations and advise parents on needs for services.
• Collaborate with teachers to develop IEPs and monitor progress of students.
