Job summary

Devereux is seeking a Behavioral Health School Based Coach in the McKeesport Area School District. The role is a 10-month, daylight schedule with a pay range of $20.86–$25.31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a social services field AND 2+ years experience in school or higher level of care.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Current PA Class I driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle required.
• Act 33, 168 and 34 clearances and ED/DPW fingerprints required.

Responsibilities

• Provide strength-based behavioral health and wellness coaching to students, families, and school staff.
• Support students in developing coping skills and positive behavior strategies to improve academic and social-emotional outcomes.
• Respond to and support students with concerning behaviors using de-escalation techniques and collaborate with school staff for safety.
• Participate in student case conferences and coordinate with caregivers, school personnel and treatment team members.
