Community Health Resources is seeking a Residential Counselor for Willow House in Enfield, CT. This full-time role supports young adults ages 18-25 in a 5-bed, 24-hour staffed program, helping with independent living skills and accessing resources in the community.

The position involves supervising residents, teaching nutrition, budgeting, hygiene, and basic home care, coordinating care with providers and families, and maintaining documentation.

Qualifications

• High diploma or GED required.
• Two years’ experience with a relevant population preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Maintains program standards and environment per CHR and licensing.
• Monitors residents’ medications per policy.
• Teaches rehab areas: nutrition, budgeting, hygiene, and home care.
• Prepares groups and individual interventions per treatment plan.
• Collaborates with providers and families as needed.
• Maintains documentation per agency standards.
