Ampact is seeking a Reading Tutor for Reading Corps in California to help students become stronger readers. You will participate in a school-based program, guiding pairs of students for 20 minutes each day and coordinating with on-site staff to ensure smooth sessions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, and writing).

• Dependable with good attendance and timeliness.
• Basic computer skills (email and navigating online).

Responsibilities

• Lead tutoring sessions and follow a schedule to provide student support.
• Track student progress and meet with the on-site coach.
• Conduct skill assessments and enter scores in the data software.
• Engage students with encouragement and celebrate growth.
• Commit to personal growth through coaching and training.
• Share experiences with the community.
