Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
• Valid state Occupational Therapy Assistant license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and basic internet navigation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in screening and providing input to initial evaluations.
• Implement treatment for assigned patients per plan of care.
• Comply with state and federal guidelines regarding documentation and billing.
• Establish and maintain effective patient-centered interactions with patients and staff.
• Provide direct supervision to rehabilitation technicians during group and individual treatment.
• Participate in utilization review, case management, and care conferences as directed.
• Maintain awareness of changes in patient conditions and communicate progress.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
