Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist to provide direct patient care and contribute to comprehensive therapy programs within our inpatient rehabilitation setting. You will assess patients, develop personalized care plans, supervise treatments, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and quality of life for our community patients.

Qualifications include current state licensure and CPR; master's preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CPR certification.
• Master's Degree preferred, or Bachelor's Degree plus sufficient experience in the field.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct care to patients in need of occupational therapy.
• Guiding patients by supervising care and treatments, leading patient assessments, creating personalized care plans, and targeting and resolving patient concerns.
• Building meaningful relationships with patients by dedicating time to understand their physical, mental, and emotional needs for a successful recovery.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
