Springfield Legacy Academy in Springfield, MA seeks a Special Education Teacher for grades 6-8. Immediate full-time opening with base salary up to $96,864.45 and experience-based pay. License required; bilingual preferred.

You will teach in a collaborative setting within the Springfield Empowerment Zone Partnership and contribute to a culture of belonging and growth. Responsibilities include delivering rigorous instruction, using progress data to guide teaching, engaging families, and supporting

Qualifications

• Experience teaching at the middle or high school level.
• Massachusetts DESE educator license in the appropriate subject and grade level required.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver standards-aligned instruction using evidence-based practices.
• Build relationships with students to support belonging and high expectations.
• Collaborate with colleagues in co-teaching and PLCs.
