Academy of the Pacific Rim Charter Public School (APR) seeks a dedicated teacher to deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction for students in grades 5-12. The role emphasizes collaborative planning with colleagues and data-driven approaches to support diverse learners.

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred), MA certification or MTEL readiness, and a commitment to APR’s mission of equity and excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Massachusetts MTEL tests must be passed by end of first year of employment.
• SEI endorsement or completion prior to end of first year.
• Two+ years teaching experience in charter or district schools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead standards-aligned curricula and assessments.
• Provide high-impact, targeted interventions using data.
• Collaborate with co-teachers and specialists to meet diverse needs.
• Provide tutoring and office hour support to students.
• Participate in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
• Engage families through regular communication and partnerships.
