Job summary

gobravvo is seeking a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to provide direct, evidence-based nursing care for laboring mothers and newborns within a fast-paced maternity setting. You will monitor, educate, advocate, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license is required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and NRP certifications preferred or required by some employers.
• Demonstrated clinical competence in labor and delivery or women's health nursing.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous professional improvement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct, high-quality nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns according to clinical guidelines.
• Continuously monitor maternal and fetal status and respond to changes promptly.
• Advocate for patients and utilize the clinical chain of command as needed for safety.
• Educate patients, families, and staff within the labor and delivery setting.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming care environment.
• Lead and mentor nursing staff and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Provide patient and family education on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
