• Valid State of Arizona Teaching Certification.
• Meets all certification requirements for the grade level or subject area including proper teaching area endorsements.
• Must pass a background clearance
• Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card

Responsibilities

• Supports the Strategic Plan of Queen Creek Unified School District.
• Plans and implements a program of study that meets individual needs within the district curriculum.
• Uses effective teaching techniques and materials to implement curriculum goals and objectives.
• Creates weekly lesson plans correlated with curriculum aims and objectives.
• Monitors and assesses student progress and provides feedback to students and parents.
• Diagnoses, instructs and evaluates student needs and seeks district assistance as required.
• Communicates aims and objectives clearly to students.
• Maintains a conducive classroom environment for learning.
• Assists administration in implementing district policies and rules.
• Develops classroom rules of behavior.
• Provides educational experiences to develop student potential and life skills.
• Supports district philosophy and policies.
• Communicates concerns with colleagues, students, parents and community.
• Assumes responsibility for supervision and professional duties as assigned.
• Maintains punctual attendance and professional conduct.
