Responsibilities

• Supports the Strategic Plan of Queen Creek Unified School District.
• Plans and implements a program of study that meets the needs of students within the district curriculum.
• Uses effective teaching techniques and materials to implement curriculum goals and objectives.
• Creates weekly lesson plans correlated with curriculum aims and objectives.
• Monitors and assesses student progress and provides feedback to students and parents.
• Diagnoses, instructs and evaluates student needs and seeks district specialist assistance as required.
• Communicates objectives to students clearly and organizes the classroom.
• Maintains a conducive learning environment and enforces classroom rules fairly.
• Collaborates with administration to implement district policies and procedures.
• Promotes student development in personal-social skills, decision making and self-image.

Education
