Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience: None.
• Must be eligible for Florida Department of Education Certification in appropriate subject area.

Responsabilités

• Meets and instructs assigned classes in the locations and at times designated.
• Plans a program of study that meets individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Supervises students to protect safety and health.
• Assesses student progress and maintains records as required.
• Diagnoses learning disabilities and engages District specialists as needed.
• Assists administration with classroom policies and behavior rules.
• Availability to meet with students and parents outside instructional days.
• Plans and supervises teacher aides/volunteers and evaluates their performance.
• Attends staff meetings and serves on committees.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
