Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from accredited university.
• Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Letter of Acceptance from Educator Prep Program and ability to obtain intern certification within one year for subject and level assigned.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the district curriculum.
• Prepare lessons reflecting accommodations for differences in student learning styles.
• Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials for diverse learners.
• Work with special education staff to modify curricula as needed per IEP guidelines.
• Collaborate with staff to set instructional goals and methods according to district requirements.
• Utilize technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as assigned.
• Assist in selection of books, equipment, and materials.
