Next Steps Community Services in Effingham, NH seeks Group Home Workers to support adults with developmental disabilities in a group home setting. You will assist with daily living, skill development and community integration, guided by a person-centered approach.

No prior experience is required as comprehensive staff training is provided; a valid driver’s license and ability to work in the US are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Willing to complete a criminal background check and authorized to work in the United States.

Responsabilités

• Provide support to individuals diagnosed with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Next Steps Community Services programs.
• Assist individuals to become more integrated in their communities by maximizing strengths, skills and abilities.
• Support may include personal care, daily living activities, job coaching, teaching and developing skills.
