Job summary

Washoe County School District seeks an Elementary-Middle-High School Classroom Teacher to implement curriculum and teach one or more subjects under administrator supervision. Requires a Bachelor's Degree with student teaching and a Nevada teaching license in the relevant area, plus three years of contracted teaching experience.

Candidate must meet education, licensing, and experience standards and be able to obtain Nevada license if not already held.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with student teaching experience
• License/Certificates: Possession of, or the ability to obtain a valid Nevada teaching license in the relevant subject area/and or grade level
• Experience: Three (3) years of verified contracted teaching experience with a Bachelor's Degree

• Planning and Preparation: Demonstrates mastery of content and pedagogy; sets instructional outcomes for diverse learners
• Instruction: Engages students and uses effective questioning and discussion techniques
