Responsibilities

• Teach reading, language arts, social studies, mathematics, science, art, and health to pupils in a classroom.
• Instruct pupils in citizenship and basic subject matter and district procedures.
• Develop lesson plans and provide individualized instruction to meet pupil needs.
• Translates lesson plans into learning experiences to optimize instructional time.
• Establish and maintain standards of pupil behavior for a productive learning environment.
• Evaluate pupil progress and communicate with parents regarding progress.
