Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must be a high school graduate or GED.
• Six months of childcare experience required; pursuing or having NAC, CDA, or CPC credentials, or an Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
• Must participate in Safe Environment Training and sign the Code of Ethics Policy.
• Fingerprinting and TB tests and other requirements shall be obtained prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teacher in supervision and instruction.
• Assist in supervision and care of students.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized learning environment.
• Support food service and supervise meals.
• Engage students in meaningful activities and respond to concerns.
• Communicate with parents and staff regarding student questions.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
