Job summary

Joliet Public Schools District 86 is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher - Inclusion for the 2026-2027 school year. Reports to the Principal and Assistant Principal. The incumbent will plan instruction, coordinate with district administrators, and supervise student teachers and paraprofessionals

Qualifications

• Experience with behavior management and data collection for autism students.
• Strong communication with stakeholders and public relations.
• Leadership and collaboration with staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Instructional Planning: the teacher shall prepare plans and demonstrate long-term planning.
• Supervise Students assigned to the building, student teachers, paraprofessionals, and volunteers.
• Manage classroom to maximize student learning and establish effective communication with stakeholders.
