Responsibilities

• Instructs assigned classes at designated locations and times.
• Plans a program of study meeting individual needs, interests and abilities.
• Creates a conducive learning environment.
• Implements district curriculum goals and communicates clear objectives.
• Assesses student progress and provides reports; communicates with parents as needed.
• Maintains accurate records and adheres to laws and district policies.
• Participates in professional development and district meetings.

Education

Massachusetts licensure: Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities, PreK-8

Bachelor's Degree with appropriate license

Master's Degree with appropriate content area license (preferred)
