Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

• Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and accommodate differences among students.
• Plan and use instructional strategies and materials reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula for IEPs.
• Set instructional goals with staff and supervise instructional aides/volunteers.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and manage extracurricular activities as assigned.
