Job summary

The North Penn School District is seeking a Special Education Paraprofessional (Elementary) to support students with individualized education plans in Walton Farm, Bridle Path, and Nash Elementary Schools. 7 hours/day, 35 hours/week, 183 days/year.

Pay rate starts at $25.37/hr and goes to $27.63/hr, commensurate with experience. Responsibilities include assisting with academics, behavior support, personal care, and data collection under supervision of licensed staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree or 2+ years of higher education preferred.
• Continuing Education/Certification as required by state/federal mandates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and data collection (behavioral, academic, medical).
• Modify curriculum/instruction as directed to support student IEP/504 goals.
• Provide individual or small-group instruction and reinforcement of learning.
