Devereux is seeking an Elementary Special Education Teacher for Autistic Support in Neshaminy School District. You will deliver individualized instruction in a small-class setting and collaborate with related service providers to support student progress.

The full-time 10-month role runs M-F 8:20–3:35 with potential summer extended or PRN substitutes; salary is $55,000–$65,000, with benefits after 30 days and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in special education or related field required.
• Master’s degree in special education preferred.
• PA Department of Education certification as teacher preferred.
• At least one year of experience with autism or related populations.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with data collection/analysis.

Responsibilities

• Deliver specialized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP.
• Create a structured, engaging learning environment for elementary students with autism.
• Collaborate with related service providers, staff, and families to support growth.
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation per state/district requirements.
• Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to promote success.
