Job summary

Middle Tennessee State University is seeking a Teacher 1 for the Ann Campbell Early Learning Center (ACE) to create developmentally appropriate environments for toddlers and preschoolers. You will collaborate with a co‑teacher and classroom adults to engage children through daily activities and routines, while supporting families with transitions.

The role includes mentoring university students in the classroom and participating in related special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in one of the specified education areas.
• Two years of experience with young children (birth through age five).
• Active Tennessee Teaching License in an Early Childhood or related area (PreK-3).

Responsibilities

• Create developmentally appropriate learning spaces and experiences for toddlers/preschoolers.
• Collaborate with a co‑teacher and classroom staff to support all children.
• Support families during daily transitions and assist ACE students with course requirements.
