Job summary

Acelero Learning is hiring an Early Head Start Teacher (Infant/Toddler) to collaborate with a partner Teacher in a classroom of 6-8 children aged birth to 3 years. You will implement the Creative Curriculum, develop individualized learning plans, and support language and cognitive development through intentional instruction.

Responsibilities include planning, documenting progress, and maintaining a positive classroom environment that fosters social/emotional growth.

Qualifications

• Infant/Toddler CDA or AA/BA in Early Childhood Education or willingness to obtain Infant/Toddler CDA within one year of employment.
• Physical exam and background checks are required for this position.
• Travel required locally or long-distance up to 10% of the time for work-related meetings and functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Develops individual learning plans for each child including goal setting based on identified needs and prescriptions for objectives and activities to meet established child outcomes.
• Plans and implement lesson plans that advance development and promote school readiness goals with the program’s curriculum.
• Collaborates with a partner Teacher in the preparation of daily lesson plans and posts them for parents, volunteers, and visitors.
• Implements daily lesson plans in response to children’s needs and interests, incorporating observations and records.
• Provides support for language development and high-quality language modeling.
