Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Title 1 Schools: two years of college or higher education, or an associate degree, or equivalent demonstrated by assessment.
• One year experience working with children with disabilities or in related settings.
• CPI or similar de-escalation training or ability to obtain.
• CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain.

Responsabilités

• Provide instructional support under licensed staff to individuals and small groups.
• Implement IEP-aligned accommodations, modifications, and strategies.
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior; maintain accurate records.
• Assist with health-related needs and procedures as delegated by a nurse.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and teams to support student programming.
• Supervise students across classrooms, playgrounds, lunchrooms, field trips, and activities.
