Job summary

Didlake, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower individuals with disabilities to build independence and participate in their communities. You will provide direct support under ISPs and help individuals engage in daily activities and community outings.

This role emphasizes dignity, safety, and person-centered planning; you will monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with Program Services Specialists to ensure HCBS compliance and successful community integration.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; minimum 1 year experience with individuals with disabilities.
• Must be able to drive a 15-passenger van and be insurable.
• Background checks required per DBHDS/DSS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals per ISPs.
• Monitor and document daily progress toward ISP goals and outcomes.
• Maintain daily schedules of training, activities, and skill-building opportunities.
• Assist individuals with transitions throughout the day and with scheduled activities.
• Support personal care and health needs, including restroom assistance.
• Assist with medication management when required.
