Join our team to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, mental health, and substance use challenges in community-based settings.

The DSP provides person-centered support, helps individuals express needs, and promotes independence. This role operates under supervision to ensure high-quality care and advocacy.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Requires successful pre-employment screening and background checks.
• Demonstrates compassion, patience, and dedication to person-centered support.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to foster independence.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and ensure health and safety through wellness initiatives.
• Support community engagement by accompanying individuals to work, activities, and events.
• Teach independent living skills and personal care tasks.
• Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services and support.
• Protect confidentiality and follow regulatory guidelines.
