Job summary

Creed Medical Group is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with daily living activities and community engagement.

You will support personal care tasks, document progress, and help clients access resources while maintaining safety and a clean living environment. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred or obtainable after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in direct care is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate approach with patience and a desire to help others.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community outings.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household duties.
• Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
• Implement individualized care plans, documenting progress and reporting any changes.
• Provide emotional support and encouragement, building trusting relationships.
• Maintain safety standards and a clean living environment for clients.
• Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
