Job summary

Creed Medical seeks compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living, fostering independence and community involvement. You will provide hands-on care and encouragement, working within a supportive team.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, reliable transportation, and the ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience in direct care preferred.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain after hire.

Responsibilities

Assist individuals with personal care tasks, meal preparation, and household duties.
Support clients in accessing community resources and participating in social activities.
Implement individualized care plans, documenting progress and reporting any changes.
Provide emotional support and encouragement, building trusting relationships.
Maintain safety standards and a clean living environment for clients.
