Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Harford County, MD (Joppa) to provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting.

You will assist with daily activities, meals, and recreational/learning activities while promoting independence and dignity. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with 3+ years driving experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills; Therap experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities in daily activities in a residential setting.
• Assist with daily activities, household chores, meal preparation, and recreational/learning activities.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served and contribute to program planning.
