Job summary

Aspire Living & Learning in Harford County seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with developmental disabilities with daily activities, transport, and recreational/learning tasks. The DSP helps promote independence and input on program planning, with mileage reimbursements where needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid US driver’s license and auto insurance may be required with at least 3 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with daily activities, household chores, meals, recreation, learning, and fitness.
• Represent the needs and interests of individuals served and contribute to planning.
• Assist with transportation to community activities; mileage reimbursement as applicable.
