Job summary

Delta-T Group in Manassas, VA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide day-to-day care for individuals with IDD, assisting with activities of daily living, mobility, nutrition, and behavior support. You will help with meal preparation, housekeeping, and record-keeping to track progress and changes in condition.

The role involves implementing individualized plans, promoting independence, and providing emotional support in a group-home setting.

Qualifications

• Must be able to provide direct care and supportive services.
• CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• TB test clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide everyday support to individuals with IDD.
• Assist with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as needed.
• Ensure proper diet and nutrition; assist with feeding if required.
• Follow individualized behavior support plans and use positive reinforcement.
