Job summary

Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist clients with daily living activities, health monitoring, and community integration. You will implement ISPs, provide companionship, and support transportation to appointments and outings.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, are at least 18, possess a valid driver's license, and CPR/First Aid training.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training to be completed through approved providers.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meals, mobility).
• Implement ISPs aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor health per guidelines.
• Support transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavior plans.
