Beyond Home Health Care in New Jersey is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help clients achieve personal goals, maintain independence, and participate fully in their communities. You will deliver person-centered care in home and community settings, supporting daily living needs and social inclusion.

Responsibilities include implementing ISPs, monitoring health, and providing transportation, with a focus on compassionate companionship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Prior experience with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid training (through approved providers) required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities (personal hygiene, meal prep, mobility).
• Implement and adhere to Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) aligned with clients’ goals.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encourage social inclusion.
• Administer medication and monitor client health per guidelines.
• Support clients with transportation to appointments and community outings.
• Maintain accurate care documentation and follow behavioral support plans as required.
