Job summary

Burrell Behavioral Health in Missouri is seeking a Community Support Specialist to help individuals adapt to community living through personalized plans and evidence-based techniques.

You will collaborate with clients, families, and other professionals to implement treatment plans, coordinate with schools and clinics, and maintain accurate records while pursuing ongoing training and quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Psychology, Social Work, or related human services field
• Bachelor's in an unrelated field with two years of related work experience
• Four-year combination of higher education and two years of related work experience
• Associates of Applied Science in Behavioral Health Support
• Four years of qualifying experience in mental health or related field

Responsibilities

• Provide community-based mental health services including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with clients and families.
• Coordinate care with primary care physicians, psychiatrists, schools, and community organizations.
• Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress per policies.
• Participate in staff development and quality improvement activities.
