Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is hiring a Direct Support Professional (PRN) in North Carolina. This entry-level role supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as mental health and substance use challenges, in their homes and community settings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.
• Able to lift up to 20 lbs regularly and 40 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Provide education on human, legal, and civil rights.
• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Accompany people to work, the movies, concerts, shopping, and other community outings.
• Teach independent living skills.
• Assist with personal care and transportation to appointments.
• Document the care you provide.
• Connect people with resources to explore opportunities.
