Qualifications

• A standard high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively with children.
• Computer skills required as needed for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers by creating instructional materials under supervision.
• Supervise and escort students to ensure safety.
• Provide classroom-related clerical support.
• Prepare and use instructional materials and teaching aids.
• Assist with lunchroom activities and dining with students.
• Support nap and rest periods as needed.
• Assist with mobility, hygiene, and feeding needs as required.
• Assist with adaptive equipment needs.
• Support behavioral programs and positive crisis management (PCM).
• Follow school policies and safety rules.
• Participate in training programs and review relevant materials.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
