Physical Education Teachers: Current automated external defibrillator (AED) certificate

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district curriculum and accommodate individual differences.
Plan and use appropriate instructional strategies and materials that reflect diverse learning styles.
Assess student learning and adjust instruction accordingly.
Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEP guidance.
Work with staff to set instructional goals and supervise aides/volunteers.
Supervise and manage classroom activities and ensure safety and behavior standards.
Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement and participate in extracurricular activities as assigned.
Be a positive role model and support the school district’s mission.
Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and protect student well-being.
Establish professional communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community.
