Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved LPN Program.
• Must possess a current license to practice as an LPN in this state.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care.
• Previous geriatric nursing/long-term care experience is a plus.
• IV Certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents.
• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure care aligns with federal, state and local standards and regulations.
• Support a home-like environment and person-centered care for residents.

Education

Graduate of an approved LPN program

Current LPN license in this state

Knowledge of nursing and medical practices in long-term care

Geriatric/long-term care experience a plus
