Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Knowledge of disability rights, self-advocacy, and community integration principles.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and follow regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Advocate for individuals’ rights and independence.
• Support wellness, safety, and accident prevention.
• Encourage self-advocacy and informed choices.
• Assist with community engagement, work, and social events.
• Teach independent living skills and personal care.
• Provide transportation for appointments and activities.
• Document services accurately and timely.
• Assist with medication administration per state laws.
