Job summary

Med Plus Staffing in Aliquippa, PA is seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in IDD/ICF settings. You will foster independence, build life skills, and improve daily quality of life by following care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of related experience preferred.
• Must provide health clearances and vaccination documentation.
• PA CWIS Abuse Registry clearance required.
• Ability to pass background checks and facility requirements.
• Strong communication and reliability essential.

Responsibilities

• Encourage independence and life skills development.
• Follow Individual Support Plans and facility instructions.
• Assist with daily living activities and personal care.
• Observe changes in mood/health and report to staff.
• Promote safety, dignity, and respectful care.
• Complete required Fire Safety Training before first shift.
