Job summary

Caritas of Austin seeks an experienced Supported Employment Specialist to manage employment services for clients experiencing homelessness, coordinating with staff and community partners. You will develop customized employment plans, assess needs, and assist with job placements and supports.

The role requires documenting services, coordinating with other programs, and maintaining client files with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• This role requires at least a Bachelor's degree in business administration, social work, psychology, sociology, education, or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience providing career services or working with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and client database systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intake and assessment; develop individualized employment plans.
• Assist with job referrals, applications, placements, and upgrades.
• Train clients in interviewing, resume writing, and job coaching.
• Maintain detailed case notes and HMIS data entry; prepare reports.
